25. 2007, ఏప్రిల్ 16: హైదరాబాదు నగరపాలక సంస్థ స్థానంలో "గ్రేటర్ హైదరాబాదు" (హైదరాబాదు మహానగరపాలక సంస్థ) ఏర్పడింది.
26. 2008, మార్చి 15: రంగారెడ్డి జిల్లా శంషాబాదులో అంతర్జాతీయ విమానాశయం ప్రారంభించబడింది.
27. 2009, అక్టోబరు 19: దేశంలోనే అతిపొడవైన ఫైఓవర్ (పి.వి.నరసింహారావు ఎక్స్‌ప్రెస్ వే) హైదరాబాదులో ప్రారంభమైంది.
28. 2009, నవంబరు 29: ప్రత్యేక తెలంగాణా రాష్ట్ర సాధనకై కల్వకుంట్ల చంద్రశేఖరరావు నిరాహారదీక్ష మొదలైంది.
29. 2009, డిసెంబరు 9: భారత ప్రభుత్వం తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర ఏర్పాటు ప్రక్రియను మొదలుపెడుతున్నట్లు ప్రకటించింది. దానితో కల్వకుంట్ల చంద్రశేఖరరావు నిరాహారదీక్ష విరమించాడు.
30. 2011, మార్చి 10: ప్రత్యేక తెలంగాణకై ట్యాంక్‌బండ్‌పై మిలియన్ మార్చి ఉద్యమం నిర్వహించబడింది.
31. 2013, జూలై 30: ప్రత్యేక తెలంగాణ ఏర్పాటుకై కాంగ్రెస్ వర్కింగ్ కమిటి తీర్మానం చేసింది.
32. 2013, అక్టోబరు 3: ప్రత్యేక తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర ఏర్పాటును కేంద్ర మంత్రిమండలి ఆమోదించింది.

39. 2014, మార్చి 4: ప్రత్యేక రాష్ట్రంగా అవతరించిన తెలంగాణ జూన్ 2, 2014 నుంచి అధికారికంగా అమలులోకి వస్తుందని కేంద్ర హోంశాఖ ప్రకటించింది.

    31 జిల్లాల తాజా చిత్రం   తెలంగాణలోని 31 జిల్లాలకు కొత్త వాటితో కలిపి బుధవారం రాత్రి వరకు 65 డివిజన్లు, 578 మండలాలు ఖరారయ్యాయి. తెలంగాణలో ప్రస్తుతం 44 డివిజన్లు ఉండగా కొత్తగా 21కి ప్రభుత్వం ఆమోదం తెలిపింది. దీంతో మొత్తం డివిజన్ల సంఖ్య 65కి చేరింది. ప్రస్తుతం 459 మండలాలు ఉండగా కొత్తగా 119 కలిశాయి. దీంతో మొత్తం మండలాల సంఖ్య 578కి చేరింది. మరో రెండు రోజుల్లో కొత్తగా మరికొన్ని డివిజన్లు, మండలాలను ప్రభుత్వం ప్రకటించే అవకాశముంది.
